Happy Holi

Happy holi to all!!!!
I've never had a great involvement in holi because since my childhood I was very scare of those dark sticky colors. Rather I always prefer to take a place in our attic where lots of cockroaches, lizards and spiders were there. So I've spent many holis along with them!
Our house was almost at center place of the town where I was born and brought up. Hence lots of the friends, relatives used to come to our house and some of them used to search me for fun. I am never able to find the reason that if someone doesn't like to participate something , then why others force to him / her to be a part of the same.Anyway nowadays my scare about colors have been removed and last few years I've played with ABIR / GULAL. Lots of my friends who are courageous enough to take the occasion of holi to play little bit with girls but for me some of the girls threw colors to me. Reason is same as I've never a penchant for playing holi rather always try to escape from it so a little bit of ragging....

Sachin breaks 200 mark -- best ever Indian Sportsperson

Yesterday the batting maestro became the first ever batsman of the history of Cricket to cross the barrier of 200 in one day international. The little master, like Sir Don who is responsible to introduce a word in dictionary: like Bradman, will be responsible for adding a word! After playing 20 years and more, he still able to reach or conquer milestone that was untouched for over 42 years!

I don't know but like some of my friends to term him the undoubted best in Indian Sports, I've some doubt in my mind. Most of us carry a very short term memory. How can we forget about Dhyan-Chand? To see his stick works, one of the supreme of an European nation requested him to play for his country.

First individual gold medal winner in shooting, Avinav Bindra is one of the brightest star in Indian Sports along with Saina who is still flourishing and we only can wait for her better performance. I personally feel in Tennis especially in doubles Lee and Bhupati are two stalwarts and unfortunately their pair was broken while they were among top three seeded.

There are so many like even in Cricket we've Mr. Kapil Dev and Gavaskar. Prior to Mr. Dev people can hardly imagine that India can produce genuine pacer and Sachin's comment about Gavaskar itself says about his legacy.

But still as per sheer performance and the time during which a player can be in top, Grandmaster Viswanathan Anand and Sachin Tendulkar definitely claim a distinct position though its really difficult to make a comparative studies among the different sports which have different parameters.
