Fictitious Trip in Virtual Valentine Day

If today I've some respite or if I can take a break from my work, I'll do the following things :-)
********************************************************************************* In the midst of the nature,
far from the madding crowd..
where one can explore other
while walking in a virgin sea-beach.
The seawater kisses your feet
and faded sun-rays touches you...
we are walking, walking and walking..
under the blue welkin, embracing the nature
what we knew , we left that behind,
what is unknown we perceive!
And thus enjoying the V-Day!!!
Though hold your hand before
but never realized the warmth
the way I realize today

Calcutta Zoo in a weekend

Recently I went to Calcutta Zoo just for a change and just to experience an altogether different environment from the places I usually go to weekends. First I like to add here this is my first visit to this zoo after really a long, long period of time. It reminds me about my childhood days when I longed for a day so as to visit the zoo. Calcutta Zoo is probably the oldest zoo in India.
If I'm saying I'm disappointed to visit the zoo, it is not entirely correct. Let us accept the fact that everything is changing so as the entry fee of zoo, that reaches to 20 rupees per person. But I was delighted that they are still not charging anything for the camera!
In zoo the collection of birds is still awesome. If I remember correctly, I found more mammals when I used to visit zoo regularly in my schooldays. It might be because of wildlife rule or  might be because of the cost, lot of places are empty. I also personally feel that this kind of cage based concept of zoo is now obsolete. I noticed couple of birds can't fly as they are in the cage for a very long time, probably.

But I truly feel that the animals should be cared well. I really don't know whether there are real shortage of workers or not , or there are lack of fund allocation for the welfare of the animal in the zoo, but we like to see more care to the zoo.

At least the environment can be made more eco friendly, more greener and cleaner. The lake water is simply terrible. I was disappointed to know that the reptile house been no longer there in the zoo. Might be the concerned department should come with more innovative plan to renovate the zoo. There can be a small exclusive place for coffee shop or one book shop for the animal related science so that some more revenue can be generated.

Anyways I know it is easy to criticize but I'm not feeling extremely glad when I found that one of the pride of our own city been declining as some of the others.

Trying to write a Limerick. .

Limerick is a five liner that contains some light weight expression
and following some rhythmic structure. Not to going too much details
about the definition, I'm here posting
the limerick that I've written right now.
Actually I wrote this for my colleague to make her angry a bit and
we banter while she became angry easily :-)

I know this girl,
she is not special!
she is little bit weird..
And becomes very easily tired
Sometimes selfish, often childish
Sending her happy new years wish!!!

Don't forget to let me know my attempt to write the limerick ..

Dasam Falls - Another Wonderful Falls near Ranchi

DON'T GET CONFUSED BY SEE THE DATES IN THE PHOTO AS IT IS AN ERROR IN MY DIGI-CAM THAT NEED TO BE SOLVED :-)

The name "Dasam" comes from ten outlets but no doubt it is another wonderful falls nearby Ranchi, Jharkhand.
It is a nice place for picnic or spending your leisure time with your family and friends but once again and as usual the place remains comparatively empty because of the political turbulence caused by Maoists.
I don't know how long we'll continue to loss to see all these beautiful place because of this extremist politics. I wonder that why neither State nor Central Government didn't pay attention to the Tourism Industry that can be effectively developed here. Probably sometimes too many options are creating problems! In some of the country, the dearth of place for tourists are so huge that their Government would have considered themselves lucky if they can have places like these.
And if tourism industry could have been build effectively then probably the Maoist problem would not have surfaced out. I believe the life style of the native citizens can be improved enormously by doing so.

Era as per Hindu Mythology -Durgapuja @ Kumortuli Park 2010

The worship of goddess Durga in Kumortuli Park was based on the theme of division of era as per Hindu Mythology. The pandel was framed as Kalchakra -- The Time Wheel
As per Hindu Mythology the era can be divided into four broad category - Satya , Treta, Dwapor and Koli.
The avatar of Lord Vishnu at Satya era....He had 4 hands according to myth with Sankha , Padma (Lotus in one of his hand), Gada and Chakro (both are weapon to kill demon) in each of his hands
The beautiful inner decoration of the roof... amazing!!!

Above Ram - the avatar of Treta era and left Shree Krishna -- the avatar of Dwapor
The goddess Durga, demolishing evil and establishing peace.... I'm really glad to see the perfection of Kumortuli Park... I don't know whether they won any prize or not but according to me it is one of the best in this year!

Ranchi - queen of Chotonagpur Plateau

DON'T GET CONFUSED BY SEE THE DATES IN THE PHOTO AS IT IS AN ERROR IN MY DIGI-CAM THAT NEED TO BE SOLVED :-)

The bird eye view of Ranchi city from the hill. But the unplanned development simply ruined the natural beauty as in most of other cities in India.
Even after the mushrooming of concrete structure here and there of the city, it is still a sheer delight to see the blue sky!

In Chotonagpur Forest --- Jona Falls , Jharkhand

Because of some political extremist turbulence, people usually avoid this beautiful falls and surrounding forest. I think far from the madding crowd and din and bustle of the city this kind of short trip can give you a welcome refresh!
When I reached to Jona falls the first question came to my mind is that why there is no place to stay. The answer is simple that political condition doesn't permit you to do so. Unfortunately because of this we can't stay such an adventurous place ....
Just have a look at the dense forest and tell me wont you enjoy your time with some special one in a wooden cottage? I believe you will!
